Aram Barnett, Managing Partner
Aram Barnett, Fund Manager and CEO, has 6 years of experience in blockchain technology and cryptoasset management, first adopting the technology in 2011, just one year after Satoshi Nakamoto first released the whitepaper on Bitcoin. Aram’s prior venture, Cyber Financial, which he founded and managed, was one of the first cryptocurrency asset management funds in the world. This alternative asset fund was devoted to investing in cryptocurrency assets like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other cryptocurrencies. Additionally, Aram worked as an Analyst at Cantor Fitzgerald where he focused on quantitative risk assessments using dynamic data sets to determine appropriate mortgage prices. Aram has been featured on Hyperledger’s Developer Series, Al-Jazeera America, and various other publications.
Blake Richardson, Chief Operations Officer
Blake Richardson, Chief Operations Officer, has two years of experience in the blockchain sector, first creating Solidity applications in 2015. As COO, he is responsible for the firm’s key corporate functions globally and helps determine Vergo portfolio. Previously, Blake worked at GRA Quantum as a Technical Associate and Software Developer where he programmed internal-facing applications, helped determine technology strategy and researched client facing cybersecurity regulatory compliance for standards such as HIPAA, GLBA, FINRA, and NERC-CIP. Prior to GRA Quantum, Blake co-founded a startup focused on providing enterprise software solutions to 501(3)-c clients.
